KidCity Wednesday Nights: TeamKid curriculum, snacks, craft, and tons of fun!

VISION / NAME
THE STAND aims to make excellent disciples of Jesus. In our definition, an excellent disciple is one who first seeks to love God with all of his or her heart, soul, mind and body. Secondly, an excellent disciple is an ambassador for Jesus; declaring His greatness to the world whether in word or action
theStand is lifted from Philippians 1:27. Here Paul challenges followers to stand firm & live a life worthy of the gospel of Jesus. That is our main goal as we shepherd this student generation.
“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.” (Philippians 1:27 ESV)

Why We Worship
The Worship Ministry at Oak City is on a mission to worship God, exalt Jesus, and equip the church through music and creative arts. Every believer is called to worship, and the worship ministry strives to lead others toward authentic worship. Music spanning many generations presents accurate teaching about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and the free gift of salvation is featured each week allowing the church to express their worship through song.
Get Involved
If you have gifts and talents you are called to share through the Worship ministry in the Worship Choir, Praise Band, or on the Audio/Visual Team, contact Pastor Nathan for more information!
